The Pilgrims reached the final of the Cricketer Cup with an easy victory against the Eton Ramblers. Repton batted first after skipper Chris Padget won the toss. Despite the early loss of Borrington and Harvey, Sindry (54) and Paget (37) rebuilt the innings. 200 was always going to be hard to chase and good work from Wall (24) and Lamb (41) ensured that we got there. In reply Eton lost quick wickets and were always behind. All the bowlers did their job and two high quality stumpings from Poynton help to contribute to the demise of the Ramblers who were finally dismissed for 135.
